Start with the appointment that's already there.
Open the checkout from an appointment or create a standalone sale. Add treatments and products, check quantities and select the client. The overview shows what's on the receipt before you take payment.

Recording a payment is different from connecting a payment provider.
You can record a payment method against a sale. With an active payment integration, Sovado can also create a payment request or send the amount to a supported terminal. These integrations check the payment status.

POS, checkout for services and products, payment methods, receipts and inventory management are available from Professional. Gift cards, loyalty, discounts and promotions are add-ons with Solo and Professional and included with Complete. Payment providers and hardware may have separate costs.

Ask your own questionCan I sell a product without an appointment?
Yes, you can create a standalone sale. Select a client if you want the purchase to appear in their history.
Can I connect any card terminal?
No. The built-in terminal integration is for supported SumUp terminals. Recording a payment method does not automatically connect your existing card machine.
Can I use part of a gift card balance?
Yes. The checkout checks the balance and lets you spend part of it. Any remaining amount due can be paid using another payment method.
Is Sovado an accounting package?
The checkout records sales and returns and provides reports. It does not promise full accounting functionality or an automatic connection to every accounting package.
