Switching

Know what you're bringing.
Then make the move.

List the data in your current system: clients, services, staff and future appointments. Check available exports and have their usability assessed.

  • Note your current system and preferred transition date.
  • Discuss the format and data to transfer.
  • Check totals and appointments before going live.

Migration options, scope and timing are agreed for each situation. Specify which data you want to transfer in advance.

A few things to know

Questions about
Sovado.

From your first choice to everyday use. This helps you assess the options.

Ask your own question
What should I prepare?

Your salon details, opening hours, services with prices and durations, team members, logo and suitable salon photos. For existing data, an overview of what you want to transfer helps.

Can I bring my existing client database?

First have the exports and fields from your current system assessed. The transfer depends on the source file and what you want to bring over. Agree on the approach before sharing data.

Does my old system need to be switched off immediately?

Choose a transition date only once the new setup and appointments have been checked. Agree in advance which calendar is authoritative to prevent double bookings.

How long does setup take?

That depends on your services, team, content and any migration. No fixed setup time is promised. Preparing your information in advance helps you work more efficiently.

Can I set up my website later?

You can prepare the different features in stages. Check the booking flow first, then decide where and when to make it visible.

Your next step

your salon workspace.

Explore the setup or discuss your questions first. Choose what suits your salon.
