Visit the help centreHow soon can I get started with Sovado?
You can start setting up your salon as soon as you register. How soon clients can book depends on your services, team and any data migration. Set up the basics and make a test booking before inviting clients.
What should I prepare?
Your salon details, opening hours and services with prices and duration. Have a team? Keep their working hours and service assignments handy too. You can add your logo and salon photos later.
Which data can I bring from my current system?
We review whether clients, services and team members can be imported from your export. We discuss upcoming appointments separately. First tell us which system you use and what you want to bring; then we agree on how to share the data.
What does the migration service cost?
The migration service is included from Professional. We review your export beforehand and agree on which data we can transfer. That way, you know what we’ll handle and what you’ll still set up yourself.
When can I turn off my old system?
Once your data, settings and upcoming appointments in Sovado have been checked. Agree on a switch date and decide when clients will start booking through Sovado. Also check your current provider’s cancellation notice period.
Can I keep my own website?
Yes. You can add the Sovado booking widget to your existing website or share your booking link. You don’t need a new salon website to get started.
