This privacy policy is not yet complete. Official business details, lawful bases for processing, retention periods and service-provider arrangements still need confirmation. This draft covers this website; it is not yet a complete privacy policy for the Sovado platform.
Who is behind Sovado?
Sovado is a product of GRW Digital. Use the contact address below for privacy questions. The full legal name and address of the data controller will be added once confirmed.
When you contact us
Contact links on the support page open your own email app. On the demo page, you can draft a message first. This website does not send that message to a server or store it in its own database. You send the email yourself from your email app.
If you send that message, the recipient receives your email address, message content and any attachments. This information is needed to answer your question. Share only relevant information; client records are not needed for an initial product enquiry.
The applicable lawful basis, retention period for correspondence and arrangements with the email service still need to be specified in the final policy.
When you browse the website
Loading a website exchanges technical information, such as your IP address, with the web server. Which visitor data the eventual hosting provider retains, and for how long, still needs confirmation.
The website's own code contains no analytics service or advertising pixels. The homepage does load icons through cdnjs.cloudflare.com. Your browser connects to this external service, which may therefore receive technical request data. The associated privacy arrangements and any international transfers still need to be checked.
You can search answers in the help centre. While you type, the page filters locally. If you use the search button, the search term reaches the web server as part of the URL. The website does not create its own search history, but a URL may appear in browser history and server logs. Do not use client details or other personal information as search terms.
Your salon account
Registration and login link to app.sovado.nl. The information on this draft page describes the marketing website and does not yet provide a complete account of data processing during registration or within the platform.
For the platform, account data, client data, payment data, privacy roles and enabled service providers need separate descriptions. Agreements with salons on processing their clients' data must also be documented.
Retention, sharing and security
A final privacy policy must state what data is processed for each purpose, its lawful basis and how long it is retained. It must also identify recipients and whether transfers outside the European Economic Area occur.
This information has not yet been fully supplied for GRW Digital. Specific retention periods, a list of processors and security guarantees are therefore not stated here yet.
